The woman tried to drown herself, but was pulled from the water by two swimmers.
About 90 percent of the estimated 30 million people in China suffering from depression fail to get proper treatment due to the stigma and due to a shortage of professional psychiatrists, according to the Chinese Psychiatrist Association.
